Master of Science in Counseling

In the Master of Science in Counseling program at Loyola, we train students to be ethical, competent, effective, and thoughtful mental health practitioners.

You’ll receive hands-on training and experiential learning through this accredited and completely on-campus program. But most importantly – you’ll learn who you are. You’ll become the best version of yourself while preparing to help others.

Students who graduate from this program go on to become licensed professional counselors who work in settings that include private practice, community mental health centers, hospitals, pre-K through 12 schools, college counseling clinics, military settings, the VA, and more. Our graduates also go on to administrative roles or to pursue their doctorate. This degree is practical, versatile, and noble – you’ll know yourself, have the skills, and will be able to apply those skills anywhere you see fit.
